The Market On Monday

Good morning. It is 30 degrees and overcast here in the Upper Hudson Valley. The forecast is predicting a few days in the 30s and 40s and then it starts to get more like Winter over the weekend with some very cold temperatures coming through. It is Winter after all. I hope you had a good weekend. I finished watching the BBC series 'Sherlock' and it was a blast, check it out, lots of fun. I did not watch the GOP debate, what's the point.   At 8:50 a.m. ET futures are significantly lower and the price of oil per barrel is significantly lower as well. The market is poised to open much lower.

If you are the kind of person who drives by a car crash and looks at the calamity, then you will have something to watch as the market goes splat. If you are the kind of person that can't tolerate looking at an accident and needs to look away, then start looking away because the accident is unfolding.
